Bond Fire Victims
On December 3rd, just before midnight, my brother Tim and his wife Alison had a heroic stranger knock on their door warning them there was a fire heading towards them. Minutes after that, their beloved neighborhood was on fire. This was during a blackout and Tim and Alison had only enough time to escape with their three children, dogs and not much else. The Bond Fire quickly swept through with such intense heat that much of their property was devastated. They lost the garage, the outbuildings, the animal enclosures and sadly their beloved chickens and ducks. Many personal and irreplaceable items were lost as well. It has been an emotional time for all of them. They are currently staying in a hotel and do not know when they will be able to return home. The damage and loss are extensive. They will have a lot to rebuild and many expenses that will not be reimbursed. We are so very grateful they are alive. However, much help is needed for them to just be able to go home and rebuild their lives. If you or someone you know has the means to help this family rebuild, I implore you to please consider doing so. Thank you for your time and loving consideration.
