Sebby was shot and needs help

Sebastian is a rescue cat who has had a really rough start in life. He was abandoned by his first owners, broke his toe, has a flea allergy and had infected pads. Just when things were starting to settle for him in his new, loving home a monster shot him with an air rifle!
He has had surgery to remove the pellet, where it was discovered that 3 loops of his intestines had been damaged and have had to be removed. He now has peritonitis, inflammation and infection of the abdominal lining, increasing the chance of his intestines not healing properly and starting to leak again. He is currently receiving care from a fantastic veterinary team while he recovers from the surgery.
My little boy didn't ask for this. He is the sweetest, most loving cat despite his rough start. All he wants is to be loved and safe and that has been taken away by an evil person with a rifle.
His vet bills are estimated to be around £1000, but with these new complications regarding his intestines it could be more. Anyone that knows me knows that I am the last person to ask for money but I don't know where else to turn. I had enough to put down a deposit so he could have the surgery but I don't have enough to cover the entire bill. Unfortunately I don't have insurance and will regret that every day, my previous cats lived for 20 years without an issue, you never think it will happen to you until it does.
Any donation to help cover Sebby's veterinary bills would be greatly appreciated. Any excess donations will be donated to Halton Cat Rescue where I adopted him.
