Sebastian's Fight with Childhood Cancer

Isn't it crazy to think that, although 'death' is the only thing we are certain of in life... for some reason, there is absolutely no way for us to truly prepare for when a loved one passes. Even more so, for the passing of a child. When Sebastian Llanes, my 2-year-old cousin, was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma at 9-months-old my family and I were heartbroken by the news. Nonetheless, we remained hopeful and positive for Sebastian.
While Sebastian fought a good fight and had been through much more in the past two years than what most people go through in one lifetime, Sebastian laid to rest on May 14, 2019.
Despite the unfortunate cards Sebastian had been given, Sebastian was a loving, smart, courageous, brave, and above all things STRONG... a VERY VERY VERY STRONG boy. Despite all the surgeries, ICU stays, MRI’s, X-Ray’s, multiple medications, sleepless nights, pain, and confusion, Sebastian continued to be the unique and incredible little guy that he was. He loved monster trucks, milkshakes, Doritos, cuddling with his stuffed animals, YouTube videos, and getting hugs and kisses from his incredibly supportive and hard working parents, Bryan and Nikki. Despite all that Sebastian had been through, he continued to be a happy and joyful boy, even during the most difficult times.
Bryan and Nikki had been nothing but the BEST PARENTS to Sebastian. All of Bryan and Nikki’s efforts, energy, and time these past 2 years had been devoted to giving Sebastian the best life they can give him. The incredible unconditional love they had for their only child did not go unnoticed.
My purpose for this GoFundMe page is to show Bryan and Nikki the same love and support they gave Sebastian. My purpose for this is to give those who have expressed the desire in helping the Llanes family an opportunity to do so, no matter how big or small. My purpose for all of this is to give Bryan and Nikki the support and love they need during this incredibly difficult time in their lives.
*All funds will go directly to the Llanes family to assist with past medical, funeral, and living expenses. Prayers, positive thoughts, and lots of love are also and always greatly appreciated. *
