Sebastian's Covid Journey

UPDATE: August 20, 2020 Sebastian Castro passed with his wife by his side, holding his hand. His body was ravaged by Covid. Liver, kidneys, virus, two infections and the list goes on. We appreciate all forms of support! The emotional support we've received has held us up! We started this campaign to help Nikki with rent but we now are turning to the end expenses and appreciate any help we are given. Please keep the family in your prayers.
July 25 Sebastian went to the hospital. He was transported to Toledo Hospital and has been in the Covid ICU since. He has been intubated and in a coma since then. So many things have come during this journey, blood clots, blood pressure, virus, fungal infection and bacterial infection, liver, kidneys ... it's a game of trying to treat as things come up. Despite his bad shape, he's hanging strong and we are hoping and praying for a complete recovery!
We resisted the suggestion to do this for a while but while Sebastian has been out, he's been unable to collect his unemployment. They will not file any claims for the last four weeks until he wakes up. Their savings is almost depleted and we are worried about rent and car payment. That said, please only donate if it's truly on your heart to do so. Don't take from anything you need to help! We hate this and we hate asking for help!!! Honestly, your emotional support and love is the most important to us!
