Sebastian’s Autism Journey

My name is Anne Schlorke and my beautiful nephew Sebastian was recently diagnosed with severe Autism in communication and needs help with gross motor skills. Sebastian is non verbal and will need many therapies and treatments to help him to become verbal.  Sebastian is a loving 3 and 1/2 year old who we love so much, and we want the best for him to succeed, but due to many treatments and therapies not covered by insurance Jenna and Brian (Sebastian’s parents) are unable to have Sebastian receive these treatments that could help him to become verbal. One treatment that we would like for him to receive is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy which is not covered by insurance. Sebastian would also receive ABA therapy which some of the therapy is covered by insurance but would still be out of pocket $75-$100 a week. We hope to start these treatments as soon as possible at a young age to help the development occur more rapid.  If you have any questions on what these treatments are and how they can help Sebastian they are below!
