Health Fund for my nephew

Hi my name is Ivonne and I’m the proud aunt and godmother of this beautiful child. My godson is a happy, very loving 8 year old who is battling a rare genetic illness that unfortunately has no known cure nor treatment. He suffers from a mitochondrial disease and there is too little information on this illness and is making it very hard for doctors and specialists to provide help to him.

He has been in delicate care at the hospital for almost 2 months now. His illness has advanced very quickly and has impaired his ability to walk and eat as he suffers from tremors in all of his body.

There are hospitals in other states that specialize in the research and optional treatments that can try to help Sebastian but is not covered by medical insurance. This is the main reason why we are asking for whatever donations you can share, whatever the amount, is helpful and greatly appreciated. My sister has stopped to work in order to care for him and even his dad is still working is not enough to continue covering regular expenses and the care that he needs. My godson will need to travel out of state, once he is stable to do so, to see other doctors and start research treatment in hospitals that specialize in this genetic disorder.

Our family is shattered with this situation and we are going thru the worse time ever because he is only 8 years old and is a very difficult situation.
