Kerry's Coastal Legacy Miles

Donation protected
Kerry Outlaw, a local Sherston girl, was just 45 years old when she passed away suddenly on May 8th 2020 just 2 weeks after being given a terminal cancer diagnosis. Kerry was married to Phil and had two children, Mia who turned 14 just two days after Kerry’s passing, and Evie 10.

Kerry had fought this cruel disease over the last year and was brave and stoic until the end. It has come as such a shock to us all, her leaving us so suddenly.

Kerry was a wonderful devoted mother and wife. She worked extremely hard building up her own mobile beauty therapy business, Beauty@Home and was highly respected by all. A loyal, wise, and strong woman, her love for her family was clear for all to see.

We are raising money to provide a “Memory Fund Pot” for her girls Mia and Evie in Kerry’s memory. This, we hope, will help to take away some of the financial worries Phil may have and prevent this being a barrier to creating memories in the future for the girls.

We would love Phil to be able to have the reassurance that the girls for example would be able to go on future school trips, events and activities all of which are so important as part of their school life. Prom dresses, driving lessons and holiday treats being other examples of what the fund could help towards.

We have set up a Go Fund Me page (see the link further down) which gives some more details and it is where, if you find it in your hearts to do so, you can donate whatever you wish towards this fund by simply clicking on the "Donate" button.

There are other options though.....

We have enlisted the help of the amazing Sherston Velo Cycling club of which Phil is a member. They are challenging themselves, along with friends, family and you (should you wish) to cycle, run, walk, hop, crawl (you get the idea) 5,017 miles, which is the total distance of the coastal roads around the UK.

This will all happen on Saturday 11th July so you can get involved in helping towards achieving the 5,017 miles by signing up to Tim Watson’s link to the GoFundMe site, on the link below. Once you have clicked the link please click on the BLUE BANNER that appears at the very top of the page which says "Join Tim's fundraising team" This will then enable you to register and become a "Team Member". Once registered you will recieve an email explaining what you need to do next with regard to letting us know how many miles you are going to do and in what way, it will also advise how to go about raising your sponsorship. You will be then ready to be part of this amazing challenge!

If you need any assistance or guidance in getting involved, please feel free to contact any of us three ladies or Tim.

We would really love to be able to mark the success of this amazing challenge in some way but obviously due to the current situation we will have to play this by ear and will keep you all informed of developments regarding this.

It would be so much appreciated to have your support in whichever way that you wish to create an amazing legacy in Kerry’s memory for her girls. Thank you so, so much.

With love and thanks from Leisa, Sarah and Lara xx
