Hi,

my name is Clara and I have been part of the last mission of Seawatch 5.

I supported the team as a photographer and camera person.

Sea-Watch is a non-profit organization dedicated to civil sea rescue in the Central Mediterranean, primarily rescuing migrants and refugees attempting to cross from North Africa to Europe.

Next to the actual rescue, our broader aim is to raise awareness about the human rights violations occurring at sea, particularly the policies that prevent or hinder rescue operations, and to push for systemic changes to address the root causes of forced migration.

Since this is a voluntary position, I am going to cover all costs for my equipment and its insurance myself.

In addition to a journalist distribution and publication on social media, the goal of my work on board is to realize a photography exhibition as well as a documentary film. T

To realize these projects in order to inform and raise awareness for the current situation, I would greatly appreciate any small financial support.

Seawatch itself is going to directly receive a part of these funds.
