Seattle Move -The Big Leap-
I'm going places with my life. No matter what comes at me I get through it. I'm tough as nails and resourceful. I've worked since I was 13 from entrepreneurship to cave guiding to McDonald's, I'll work hard anywhere. Over the years I've managed to save up 10k. I have a 3.97 GPA and over 30 college credit hours before graduating highschool. I have been accepted into every college I've applied to and offered admittance to some that I didn't.
I'll be the first to admit my life has not been easy. During my first year of public highschool when I was excelling academically and involved in 5 different clubs and initiated in the National Honor Society. I was outed to my family as Trans. I didn't want to come out to them because I knew it would make my life a living hell, but they found out due to overhearing a conversation I had with a friend. Since then I was pulled from school, my car was taken, I wasn't allowed to leave the house unsupervised, the ongoing emotional abuse worsened, and physical abuse began with me even ending up in the hospital in December. On top of all this I have struggled with chronic illness all my life.
Because family relationships were very unsafe and unhealthy an amazing crew of people I barely knew helped me get organized and move out of the house on my 18th birthday. I'm currently living with a pseudo foster family. I'm so thankful for the generous amazing people that have already helped me. I feel that my dreams are almost within reach.
I'm going to move to Seattle Washington, take a year of online classes to get my associates degree, and then receive my bachelor's in conservation and natural resources from the University of Washington. I love art, sculpture, drawing, printmaking. I'm excited to start my life and adventure through it all. Despite all the challenges I'm ready to take life by the horns.
Any donations will go towards moving costs, rent, food, school and other necessities. Thank you so much for any support
