Seattle Independent Film: A Christmas Carol!

Hi!

My name is Rose Kreider, the director and writer of a Seattle-based reimagining of the Charles Dickens classic tale, A Christmas Carol. I love Christmas time, so I am currently in the process of making A Christmas Carol happen here in Seattle. My production team and I want to make this rendition come to life as realistically as possible. We plan to re-tell the tale from a 21st Century perspective, Americanized and modern, and filled with the concerns that we as Americans are currently facing.

If you are familiar with the story, A Christmas Carol has been an extremely impactful and inspiring film since its first telling, and we cannot wait to get our vision for this important story underway in March 2024.

Our goals with the funding:

1. Make-Up/Prosthetics

2. Set decorating/Props

3. Modern and realistic costumes for main characters

4. Insurance package needed for locations

5. Studio and facilities fees and permits

6. Subject matter experts
