Hi, my name is Batul. As many of you know, earlier this year, I raised funds to help provide hot meals to those in need in Palestine. While I am grateful to have been able to assist those less fortunate in Palestine, unfortunately, there are many suffering elsewhere around the world. Because of the success of my first campaign, I am committed to continuing my efforts. In Syria, prior to the pandemic, approximately 2.4 million children did not have access to educational resources due to the ongoing civil war occurring there. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, this number has significantly increased. In response to this humanitarian disaster, I have partnered with Bonyan to build classrooms inside Syrian refugee camps. Bonyan is a non-profit organization that strives to better the lives of the displaced Syrian people. I have been inspired by the work of Bonyan and am committed to raising funds to provide Syrian children with an education. Along with building schools in Syria, Bonyan has raised money for winter aid for Syrian families, supported the needs of families with special needs, donated tons of flour in order to make bread, and has done much more. I understand that not everyone is able to donate, but every penny helps. Similar to my previous campaign to provide hot meals to the needy in Palestine, as a token of my appreciation, I would like to offer donors a recipe book comprised of cuisines from around the world.
