Supporting my wife in her time of healing

I am creating this gofundme to humbly ask for help, in a time of need.

Short version: Some of you may or may not know that Kaitlyn has been battling chronic illness for the past 6 months, and I have shifted my work schedule and stopped working my second job in order to give her as much physical help as I can without stopping work altogether. Unfortunately it hasn't been enough and we have come to crossroads, I am feeling lead to get my home in order. My wife needs my help with our at home life and I'm going to do just that. I pray that Abba will hear my cry for help and put it on the brethren's hearts to help us as they feel lead. We've gone as long as we can and sacrificed as much as we can without completely going under financially.

Long version: My wife has been chronically ill for going on 6 months now; viral infections that keep her in bed sleeping for days and on/off with fever/chills, vomiting and what her naturopathic doctor called "stupor fatigue." She has become frail in her stature as a result of losing too much weight. She is 6" tall and currently weighing 130 pounds, her normal weight is around 155-160. The slow progression of weight loss has come from throwing up, loss of appetite from fever etc. She has had pneumonia in multiple spots in her lungs for going on two months now and while we've been working with a naturopath and herbalist to help heal her naturally with God's herb bearing seed, she has not been able to keep up with her treatment while at home alone with the children. Being fatigued and the severe brain fog has made it very challenging for her to keep up with all things at hand, unfortunately this ongoing illness has stalled her doula certification and is now stalling her life in a major way. We are working with medical doctors now as well for the workups of blood labs, lymph node scanning etc. But with not pursuing western medicine as the path of treatment, she is not eligible for in-home care under insurance. This is why we have decided it best that I stay home and care for my family while she focuses on healing.

What does my staying home look like for us? First and foremost, allowing her the rest she needs to gain strength, allowing her to complete the appointments she will need to attend, the time she will need to complete her prescribed treatments, a regime involving up to 4 hours of different therapies daily and with me home, she will be able to succesfully complete these treatments. We are in the process of having her screened for IV vitamin therapy as well; this will put her in the clinic for up to 3 hrs of hook-up time depending on what vitamins she will receive that day. Praying her 6gpd screening blood test comes back negative and she will be starting as soon as next week. These will be hours where I can stay home with our children and she can receive the treatment needed.

My wife is a warrior, I've seen her overcome terminal illness, turn down a lung transplant and look death in the face; so when she came to me in her weary state and told me she can no longer power through her days, I knew she meant it, and I know she's felt that long before she came to me. Kaitlyn asked me for help and my desire as her husband is to do just that. We do not have physical help in the area, so seeking to pay for an extra body at the house isn't an option for us. That is where our Christ body comes in, the ones in our personal circle who know our story, our struggles, our reality. I am asking for the financial help of our surrounding community to help me in supporting my wife through her season of health restoration. The finances would go towards paying the next month's rent and bills so I can stay home and assist Kaitlyn with our children, cooking and whatever else is needed so she can focus on gaining her strength and immunity back. I would like to say I already have an extra month's funds in savings but we do not, the fact of the matter is I've been working half of what I usually do in order to try and assist Kaitlyn as much I can without stopping work. Just that alone has been hard on us financially, on top of that, we have paid cash for all of her holistic visits/treatment.

We are in need of help to navigate this season, the financial challenges with her health and I petition to Abba for whoever can help, to please do and with that said May YHWH's will be done! Thank you.
