Searching Miles for Miles

Donation protected

Hi, I’m Karissa and we need help fundraising for the search efforts to find my cousin, Miles Stanton, who went missing Thursday, October 20, 2022 from Tualatin, OR. Miles has no local contacts, so immediate family and friends are coming from out of state to search for Miles and have spent thousands on travel, lodging, gas for drive searches, and more. We are so grateful for the support we have received and are hoping we can continue reaching more selfless volunteers who can donate any time, talents, resources, spreading the word, and any other ways to help us find him, and are so grateful for any financial support we can give to those traveling to support efforts to locate Miles.

There is a Facebook page where communication/coordination efforts are constantly being posted, and we would be thrilled to have you join there as well to continue spreading the word. We need any and all help we can get. Local authorities have not been able to help much with search efforts since the information we have about where Miles was headed is very limited. This is where we need every bit of help we can get and are so grateful for anything. Our motto has been: “DO ALL THE THINGS.” Nothing is too little or too much as we need to find my cousin! Press Release Info
PORTLAND, Ore.—The family of a missing Tualatin man is pleading for the public’s help in finding Miles Stanton, 21, who disappeared on Thursday, Oct 20.

Stanton, who moved to the area just two weeks before going missing, was last seen at 76 gas station in Aurora. He was wearing a plain red hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers and a black beanie.

He is believed to have been looking for a new hiking, camping, biking or fly-fishing spot at the time of his disappearance. Because Stanton was new to the area when he disappeared, he did not have any local friends or family members, and his family is relying heavily on community help to find him.

“He has never done anything like this before, and it is very out of character,” said Laura Stanton, Miles Stanton’s mother.

Miles Stanton is 5’10” and weighs about 165 lbs. He has brown shaggy hair, no facial hair and a tattoo on each of his thighs. He drives a black 1997 Honda CRV with Utah plates, skateboard stickers and anime stickers.

Anyone with information on Miles Stanton’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Tualatin Police Department at (503) [phone redacted]. Community members are also invited to participate in a search party on Saturday, Oct. 29, starting at 9 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 22284 SW Grahams Ferry Rd., Tualatin, OR 97062.

Thank you for all your contributions to our efforts to create a community dedicated to finding Miles.
