Hi all, a recent injury has lead to a speedy recovery of which I owe a debt of gratitude to the North West Air Ambulance & Lake District Search & Mountain Rescue Association. They saved my ass…literally.

A way of showing my appreciation for the two charities is to fundraise for the Lakeland 50 mile run I am doing this July.

I’d be so grateful for any donations as the cost of the helicopter and team of volunteers to get me off the mountain and to hospital was not cheap or easy. Subsequently I would love to repay them with your help…
