Sky O'Banion has been missing since January 21, 2024, 2 years, 5 months and 6 days as of this moment I am writing this. Our family and many friends have been utterly devastated, agonized, heartbroken and on the edge of our seats this entire time. We are raising money to both further investigation and raise the reward for information leading to confirmed location of Sky and knowing what happened to him to $10,000. The reward is currently at $8,000, having brought it up from $7,500 thanks to a handful of recent contributions. We have a private investigator actively working on the case. We recently held a benefit at The Big Easy in Petaluma on June 19th that raised $2,400 that is going toward further private investigation. This motivated us and brought awareness to the community that we are still actively searching for Sky and will never give up. A few people have come forward recently with new information regarding Sky's whereabouts and people we didn't know he was associated with in the months and days before he disappeared. The private investigator will be following up on these possible leads. If the reward money is not claimed within 6 years of his disappearance (when the state might consider him deceased legally), the reward money will go to his daughters and to settle any private investigation bills. My brother Sky O'Banion was last seen 1/21/2024 in Guerneville and we have not had a single sighting of him confirmed since. He is near and dear to many including 2 children, 4 siblings, his girlfriend, and many other friends and relatives. We have raised almost $5,000. Family has chipped in so we could post a $7500 reward. Our goal is to reach a $10,000 reward for information leading to the location of Sky. (If he is found in advance of the usage of one or both, money will be returned to those who donate.) Sky is a talented blues musician, a father of 2 daughters and a beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He has experienced some major challenges in this life and if you know him, you know what they are. He also made great strides to overcome them and realize his true nature as an artist and loving human being with great emotional depth. Many of us are extremely distraught at his disappearance and would be grateful to see resources generated in the aid of his return. Thank you for your support, anything helps, it adds up.
