Our family is asking for your help in the search and rescue of Skin Wysocki. He left Koliganek yesterday morning by snowmachine around 11am and he has not returned home. We believe he may have gone out to check his traps at Mulchatna or haul wood. Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts please contact us directly or comment on this page. We are asking for help financially in this nightmare of a reality. We are working with the troopers, coast guard, national guard and rounding up our own search parties. Right now we are footing the bill for 1 helicopter, and 1 bush plane charter. Bush planes are unable to land in Koliganek right now due to the cross wind and glare ice runway. Because of weather conditions in KGK we are under the assumption that we will need to get the helicopter in the air once again. Troopers will be launching from King Salmon, providing air support as well.
