Help Sean and His Dogs Through Tough Times
Fundraising Goal:
$12,000
Hi, I’m Sean. I never imagined I’d be in this situation, nor did I ever think I'd have to publicly ask for help—but I've run out of options and time.
Over the past few months, my life has completely unraveled. I lost my job, my car was repossessed—twice—and now I’m $3,030 behind on rent with another $1,400 due immediately. I'm just days away from eviction.
But this isn't just financial trouble—it's become a personal safety crisis.
My relationship recently became physically abusive, escalating significantly and leaving me with visible injuries:
- A black eye
- Facial swelling and bruising
- Finger marks and bruises around my neck
- Busted lip
These injuries prevented me from starting a new job I had lined up. Although I'm currently separated and safe temporarily, this arrangement is short-term until new living solutions can be arranged.
My Dogs Are My Family
Throughout this incredibly challenging period, my three dogs—Maia (Hava-Poo), Lily (Frenchie), and Rockwell (Yorkie)—have been my emotional anchors. They're my family and leaving them is not an option.
Everything Has Hit at Once:
- Job loss
- Car repossession
- Physical assault from my ex
- Recent car accident totaling our only remaining vehicle
- Pending eviction scheduled for June 27th if payment isn’t made
- No transportation, no income, and no permanent safety
I've exhausted all other resources—sold personal belongings, borrowed money from friends and family, sought local assistance, and pawned items. There's nothing left, and nowhere else to turn.
What I’m Asking For:
I'm trying to raise $12,000 to cover:
- Past-due rent to avoid immediate eviction and eviction record ($3,030)
- Current month's rent and utilities (~$1,400)
- Secure safe and stable new housing (~$2,500+)
- Obtain reliable transportation to get back to work ($2,500–$4,000)
- Basic essentials and emergency expenses as I rebuild ($500–$1,000+)
- Expenses related to the recent car accident including towing fees, lot charges, and potential liability for vehicle damages since I wasn’t covered under insurance ($1,150–$3,000+), urgently needed by Sunday, June 22nd.
If you can help—even by sharing or donating just a little—it means safety, hope, and a fresh start for me and my dogs.
I deeply appreciate any support you can offer, knowing these are challenging times for everyone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Sean
