Seane get a new washer-dryer and cover other costs

Hello. My name is Seane Forrister and I've had a bad week (and it's only Tuesday!).

A couple of weeks ago my washing machine stopped spinning out clothes properly. I hired an appliance repair guy to come look at it to find out what is wrong, the earliest I could get was 9 am this morning (Feb 4, 2025).

In the meantime, I put my back out and have lost at least two days of work, and due to having had pneumonia last year, and it being close to the end of our fiscal year, I am out of sick and vacation time, so I am losing pay.

Which sucks because the appliance repair guy just informed me that the needed part is not available because the stacking washer/dryer unit I have is too old and I'm going to need a new unit.

I'm looking at $1600 minimum, plus taxes, installation, delivery, and removal of old unit. So probably between $2000 and $2500. Plus I'm down on personal expenses and currently have no savings.

I'm hoping to raise $3000 CAD to cover cost of a new stacking washer/dryer unit, cover the appliance repair guy's service call, the living expenses I'll be unable to cover because of my injury, and any extras will go towards the new windows/patio doors that are needed for my condo (which I was planning to do this fall, but I've been having troubles starting to save due to health issues). I hope to get that dealt with next summer.

All help would be greatly appreciated. I know that everyone is having a hard time these days.
