I have set up a GoFundMe to help support my journey to happiness. Both mentally and physically. I am a transgender woman seeking support to ease the costs attached to transitioning.
The NHS do pay for gender reassignment surgery, however, the waiting list is very long and if I could have the possibility of having it sooner rather than later, I'd choose now. This is due to my dysphoric disconnection with my body, my mental health regarding my body isn't good. I am taking the steps, putting myself out there to change. I am trying to let my mind, body, heal and connect.

Breast Implants
Tracheal Shave
The Costs:
It roughly costs around £20,000 alone to pay for gender reassignment surgery which is where the large sum of money will go towards. Having breast implants vary from doctor to doctor but I will never settle for anything less or "cheap". I am not risking my health or compromising my body to take the easy route. I will pay for quality. The cost is around £4-5 grand. The tracheal shave will cost around £3-4 grand.
I would like to take the time out to thank my family of friends who have supported me throughout this ongoing journey and the fact that they'll continue to be there warms my heart. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you.
About Me:
I have always been different. I have always been confused as a girl from childhood and throughout my adolescence . I look soft, feminine and like a woman. I now identify as a woman. I had to go through self discovery, androgyny and enlightenment to discover what I wanted to do and be. I have done it at my own pace and time.
I haven't had any work done, I am not on hormones yet, I am on the waiting list. I am so fortunate, lucky and grateful to be deemed as passable. I understand that not everyone has a smooth transition due to their outwardly appearance. The struggle that trans people endure is unfathomable. My heart goes out to each and every one of you.
