Sean's New Heart

As some of you may know my little brother Sean is waiting for his second heart transplant. 

Sean was born with a hypo-plastic left heart and wasn't expected to survive a mere three days. Now at 21 he has endured five open heart surgeries and is a young man I am so genuinely proud to call my brother. 

Sean received a heart transplant four years ago, and from no fault of his own his body has rejected the new heart and is waiting for another. Whilst he waits he has to stay here in Melbourne to be visited by a trained nurse daily and is unable to work. He has 30plus medications a day and countless check ups and appointments. We are all anxiously awaiting Sean's new heart however there is no clear timeline for when this will happen. 

It has been an incredibly financially taxing time for Sean and my parents. From the most grateful depths of our hearts we ask that you consider donating to a small fund to supplement Sean's living and travel expenses whilst he is unable to work and forced to stay in Melbourne.  This fund would help to cover the plethora of medication he has to take daily and all the low sodium food which Sean is stoked about. It will also help cover my parents travel expenses as they have already missed weeks of work spending time at his bedside.
