As some of you may know on December 29, 2023 Sean was severely injured during what was expected to be the first SUPER FUN annual family/friend ski trip to Mont Tremblánt, Canada. On the last run of the day, something went horribly wrong and Sean broke his fibula and his tibia and did unknown damage (as of now) to his knee. After one night in the hospital in Canada it was decided with the doctor’s there that the best option was to drive home to MMH, due to the conditions of healthcare in Canada (TERRIBLE) and also proximity to home. Besides the injuries he suffered to his bones he was on track for compartment syndrome. A very serious swelling complication which has resulted in two surgeries, a skin graft and keeping his leg caged in place, which has kept him in hospital for almost a month since. Once his bones are set he will not be able to put weight on his leg for 4 months. Then it’s a lengthy process of PT to get back to normal. Sean works as the sole employee for his own company as a highly skilled electrician. He’s also the the “bread-winner” for his family. For the time being Sean will be unable to provide for his family and for those of you who know Sean you know that this is his biggest devastation. Sean and Kelly are not the type to ask for help, so with a few conversations and convincing they agreed to humbly accept any denomination you can afford to help as his inability to work will monetarily be a devastating consequence of this horrible accident.
