Sean Watson Medical Relief Fund

Friends… you have all come through for me when I needed it most – when we lost our house to a fire in 2016, and again when I almost lost my life in 2021. You have all inspired me with your kindness, generosity and prayers and made me realize what a wonderful community of friends and family we have here in our little corner of the planet.

That being said, another one of our own desperately needs our help – our friend Sean Watson is undergoing open heart surgery to repair 3 major arteries that are 90% blocked. This is serious surgery and Sean is in very dangerous territory. This surgery has to happen right away.

Sean has been a fixture in many of our lives for many years – from his days as a radio DJ at Rock 101 to the countless times he has supported and enjoyed our local music scene. He is also a talented chef who has probably made a meal for you at one point or another, even if you didn’t realize it.

Personally, I love my Watson like a brother and would move Heaven and Earth to help him in any way I can. I also know he is a strong-willed, humble and proud man and he won’t ask you for help, so I’m doing it instead.

Sean just started a new job a few weeks ago and, as we all know, money is tight everywhere. This surgery will put him out of work for up to 3 months, and he has rent to pay and a car payment. ANYTHING you can spare will be a HUGE help during his recovery from this major surgery. If Sean ever made you a meal, came to one of your shows, gave you one of his giant bear hugs, made you smile, or you just feel like helping someone in need – please consider donating.
