On Friday June 15, 2018 Sean Sweeny, 15 years of age, was at a shooting range in Mammoth with his dad. They both had experience with firearms. Sean sustained a serious gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Mammoth Hospital where he was stabilized and then airlifted to Reno Nevada's trauma center. He underwent 3 hours of surgery to repair the damage. He is in a coma and in critical but stable condition. Sean is going to need extended stay here at the Renown Regional Medical Center before he can come home and receive acute rehabilitation. We are asking for your support for housing, food, and daily essentials while we are at our home away from home.  Any support that is not used will be donated to a charity of our choice or Renown Regional Medical Center.
