I am raising money for Jack Flexney by doing the Edinburgh Marathon. This will be a massive challenge as I've not been too active in recent times so training begins now.
Jack and his family received devastating news on 24th August 2019. Jack went into hospital for a routine check up and after a MRI scan he was diagnosed with two brain tumours. Treatment will last for 9 months using radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Jack is a 16 year old boy who loved his football and spending time with his friends and family socialising. Since diagnosis his life has been turned upside down. The worst possible news you could receive as a parent. Jacks mum and dad, janice and paul are good friends of mine and I would like to raise some money for jack to enjoy a nice family holiday once his treatment completes at the end of may.
