Hi, my name is Kelsey McKee and I am Sean’s oldest daughter. As many of you know my Dad went into surgery in October of 2021 to have a Gastric Bypass done. After a couple days in the hospital due to minor complications he was able to come home. Within two days of being home my Dad was not feeling well and we were told to bring him back down to the hospital in Indianapolis. Once at the hospital we were told that my Dad was in septic shock and we should call in our family to say our goodbyes. After being in what was basically a medically induced coma for almost two weeks my Dad woke up but had little to no recollection of what had happened. Since then my Dad has been in and out of rehabilitation centers and hospitals where he is trying to regain the ability and strength to walk and eat appropriately, while also having several repeated procedures done to try and correct all of the gastric leaks. He is currently at AMG Speciality Hospital in Greenfield. These past almost two years have taken a toll on our family. My amazing mom Tanya, still continues to teach at Plymouth High School and supports us to the best of her ability. My sister and I being “adults” now, have moved home to help with things, but between driving to Indianapolis to see our Dad, medical expenses, bills, etc., I am asking for your support.
