A blood leak in my head sent me to MUSC Charleston.

Once I am healed up, I will be having open heart surgery to replace the leaky mechanical valve in my main artery.

When they say the therapies for cancer are sometimes worse than the disease this is what they are talking about. ( The radiation from ‘93 beat up my original)

After this next surgery, I will not have to be cracked open ever again, I will be off the blood thinners and be able to enjoy those leafy greens, collards, spinach and even tofu.

I have not asked for anything but positive vibes, thoughts, prayers, et al.

Tonight, I am swallowing all that and asking my tribe, my village, you, my Family, to rally together.

I ask my coworkers of West Florence High School who have raised money with Chicken Bogs to activate the Cooks for Christ.

It's not Grateful Dog Festival time,

but music really brings the fam together.

Beer, too!

Positive Thoughts and Good Vibes are nice, but funding all these operations is imperative. Along with greatly appreciated.
