Hopefully this message finds you well. As we slowly begin to recover from the loss of our dear friend, and the happy and funny memories take its place, we would love for you to consider lending a hand to not only keep Sean's memory alive but also help the family left behind.
The family is planning a celebration of life for Sean's birthday in early June. To make this as special as possible, they are trying to raise money to soften the financial blow that an event like this and any other unexpected expenses can bring. The remaining funds will be used to fund an annual scholarship to a student at Ledyard High School in Sean's memory. The recipient of this scholarship must be a thre-sport varsity athlete (male or female), a graduating senior, and exhibit financial need.
Sean cherished his time on the grid iron, the mat, and the diamond. If you were lucky enough to play or compete along side Sean, than you are well-aware of the drive , motivation, and dedication he put in each practice, play and match. His very presence made those around him rise to the challenge and work even harder.
Sean was fiercely dedicated to his friends and family. He was always there if you needed him, a true "shirt off his back" kind of guy, touching our hearts and lives in so many ways. With that in mind we ask that you find it in your heart to give what you can to make a few requests a reality.
