Sean Gwin Memorial

Donation protected
It is with great sadness that the Gwin family has announced the passing of my brother, Sean Gwin on January 17th, 2021.  This devastating news for his wife Karen and daughter Paige leaves us all with an aching heart, mended only by time and touched by all the memories Sean created for us.

A devoted husband, a loving father, a generous brother, Uncle and godfather, he leaves a lasting legacy of friendships, laughs, stories and a life well lived.  His larger than life personality was only exceed by the kindness of his heart, his friendship to others and the lasting  friendships and relationships he treasured at his work family at Steiner Electric.  We talked often about his work, as much as we did about his outdoor adventures and he was proud to have spent his 40 year career with Steiner.

We are hoping to help the family offset funeral expenses and contribute to a college fund for his daughter Paige.  Sean would have been too proud to seek any assistance, but as Paige's' godfather, I would be remiss in my duties in that role if I didn't try to help her in his absence.  And more importantly, I love all my nieces (and nephew) but this precious girl deserves our help. Although Sean never finished his degree, like all parents, he was looking forward to seeing Paige accomplish that goal and we hope to support her future and assist the family with this effort.

I would be eternally grateful for your assistance and will personally ensure that this fund will directly support Paige's goal of attending college.

I am also collecting stories and remembrances of Sean to publish in a book for Paige.  Please forward any messages or anecdotes that will help the family remember Sean's impact and friendships to contribute to Karen and Paige's memories.  I find this important to share these memories of Sean to show the family how else he impacted others in ways we may not have readily seen.

Feel free to send them to me at [email redacted] and I gratefully thank you for any and all support for the family.

Sincerely,

Tim Gwin
