HELP - The Reverend Sean Foster fight ALS
Donation protected
Hi - my name is Cynthia. I am a friend of Bonnie Foster who lives in the neighbourhood of Bronte, in Oakville with her husband Sean Foster and their three children. Sean has been experiencing different health challenges and symptoms since June 2023 and after much detailed testing and investigations Sean has recently been diagnosed with the devastating news of ALS disease. This diagnosis came from a Neurologist doctor. Sean can no longer walk - he’s in a wheelchair.
The family is exploring his condition with a ALS clinic in Hamilton and undergoing further testing from the clinic.
The family needs our support and love as they prepare for hard days to come. Bonnie runs a home daycare and will need to hire a helper to allow her to support Sean with his many medical appointments and his on going care. There will be lots of expenses in the days to come.
Some History
For those of you that don’t know this…
Sean was Senior Pastor at Hopedale Presbyterian Church, in Oakville (2002 - 2022) - while also serving as Oakville Fire department, Chaplin (2015 - 2021)
Sean shared in the opening celebration of the Central Station, and many Remembrance Day Parades. Sean made many friends and special relationships with Oakville Firefighters - he gave so much of his time serving his community.
Sean also served the Police department, including all First responders, Fire, Police, and Ambulance, by dedicating a Service of Protection once a year.
A dedicated Godly servant! Thank you Sean
Going forward, it will become more challenging for Sean to continue his duties as Senior Pastor at Saint Andrews Memorial, Presbyterian Church in Mississauga (Port Credit)
This Go Fund Me account will help with many financial expenses and hardships. Also some modifications will have to be done to their home, so Sean can get upstairs because at the moment he’s confined to the basement. Any donation will be of help and greatly appreciated! No amount is too small - Please let’s come together as a community to help this young family.
Please pray for Sean - we need lots of prayers. We are praying for a miracle - for his healing, that God will comfort him and strengthen him. That Sean will feel God’s presence each day. Please pray for Bonnie and their children for strength, courage and hope.
Amen
Please share Sean’s story and the Go fund me link on any platforms you are on. Please email your friends this link. The more people we can connect with the better. We need your help.

God Bless you
