Hi, my name is Nikki. I’m fundraising for my sister Michele, who just lost the love of her life unexpectedly on the morning of September 10, 2022.

Sean Dougherty was a one-of-a-kind human being. His energy uplifted everyone he met. He was talented, creative, driven, hard-working, funny, and intensely kind. There are so many people who will be forever changed by him. Writing about him in the past tense feels wrong because it’s hard to believe he’s actually gone.

Sean’s love for my sister was unmatched. I’ve never met anyone who cared for and loved her more. It’s impossible to articulate how much will be missed in his absence. I’ve created this fundraiser so that we can all pitch in and help Michele with the things no one should have to think about after losing their loved one. Our goal includes helping her pay Sean’s half of the rent in the lease they just re-signed for their apartment. This will give her time to go through his belongings without needing to immediately move. Our goal also includes helping her get a vehicle since their car was under Sean’s name, and help with food and other bills. We appreciate any help you are able to provide.

Nothing will ever replace this wonderful friend who was taken from us far too soon. We love you Sean <3
