Sean Dean Memorial Fund
Donation protected

This past December, Sean contracted COVID-19. , Sean's health began to decline rapidly. He was taken to the hospital and eventually placed on a ventilator. After weeks fighting this horrible disease his body started to shut down. Sean lost his fight this morning to COVID-19.
Sean Dean was a friend to so many. He would do anything for you! No favor to big, no request ever not filled. More than anything Sean was a Husband and a Father. He leaves behind his wife Melissa and his two little girls Brianna, 11 and Emma, 9. They were the loves of his life. He worked for the NY Mets in Security for over 16 years and most recently worked for Related. When you walked in to his office at Citi Field you automatically saw the love he had for his family. it was adorned with drawings and cards from his girls and framed photos of their class pictures and dance recital photos and of course photos of Melissa. Sean and Melissa met years ago when she was an Administrative Assistant at the Mets and Sean a Supervisor. He had a photo of the day Sean proposed to Melissa on the field at Shea Stadium with the help of David Wright, one of his closest friends on the team. Hearing the news this morning David was devastated. Everyone recalls
Sean saving up for a trip to Ireland to show his family his heritage that he was so proud of. Thankfully they were able to take that trip together and make great memories.
Many remember Melissa receiving flowers at work and when you asked what they were for she would say "its our 10 month anniversary" and smile. That was Sean! He wanted to celebrate everything. Even the little things. He always loved taking the family to the Thanksgiving Day Parade, going to the beach, of course ballgames and ice skating lessons. Sean just loved being with them.

Just as Sean was there for his family and friends, his friends want to be there for him and his family. We would like to help ease some of the burdens and help cover funeral costs, house payments, the girls college tuition and give them the life their father would want them to live.
If you can donate any amount to help the Dean family, with what is an unimaginable loss it will be greatly appreciated. Donations will go straight to Melissa and her two daughters. Thank you and Be Safe!
