Hello to the friends and family of Sean, Rena, Peter and Teddy. I'm Rena's niece and am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the Andrews family.

In recent months, Sean has been dealing with an excruciatingly painful and difficult-to-diagnose condition involving tumors on his spine. Since May, Sean has received diagnoses ranging from dire to a little less terrifying. The latest diagnosis is that Sean has nerve root tumors on his spine. In addition to causing incredible pain, the location of the tumors is impacting function in some areas. The prescribed treatments for Sean's pain are disorienting and debilitating in their own way.

It's not been easy to extract the current diagnosis or come up with a sustainable care plan to manage the pain and address the cause of the condition; Sean, Rena and their friends and family have needed to spend time and energy researching and advocating for the right care. This comes on top of the regular stuff of life - most importantly, taking care of and enjoying time with Peter and Teddy. Needless to say, it's been a lot. During this difficult time, the Andrews Family has been very grateful for everyone's love and emotional support.
