It is with a very very heavy heart that I share with you the news that Roxy Turner has passed away. Roxy was nothing short of an exceptional person. She was fierce, passionate, badass, smart, fun, caring and just one of a kind. Being around Roxy's presence was like a breathe of fresh air. There was never a dull moment and she was always able to connect with the people she talked to.
Her love for riding was something that brought
her calm and ease. It came natural to her and
brought her so much joy. When talking to Roxy, she always found a way to compare the
conversation to her bike or riding. When talking about how much someone spent on a trip, shoes or food, Roxy would equate that to the financial value of her bike and the new parts she wanted to get.
She found true love with Sean and was the
happiest she had ever been. They shared the
same passion for riding and even got married in Downieville where they loved to ride. Roxy
touched so many peoples lives with her infectious personality and adventurous passion for life. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She has taken a piece of us with her and will be truly missed.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for any costs that will incur for funeral arrangements and to help support wherever needed financially and emotionally for her husband.
It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide.
