Seahaven Storehouse Christmas Hampers

This Christmas is going to be a really tough time for a lot of families, particularly those parents with children who are skipping meals and struggling to make ends meet.

For other lucky ones we’ll be having a comfortable Christmas, maybe getting some fun riding in the forest on those drier days.

Through this pandemic Seahaven Storehouse have been feeding between 80 and 100 households a week (prior to COVID it was 30). This equates to an average of 1500kg of food being given out each week.

 

As we head into Christmas, in addition to the normal weekly groceries, the Seahaven Storehouse team would like to put together an additional Christmas Hamper with some special treats for the festive season. 

They are anticipating needing to provide hampers for between 100 and 120 households. 

Can the Friston MTB Community rise to the challenge and help fund these Christmas Hampers and make Christmas 2020 that little bit easier for a lot of local families.

If just half the members of the our Facebook group donate just £1 we’ll hit our target and enable the Storehouse team to get hampers out to local families in need over Christmas.
