Our mission is to protect Tampa Bay’s beaches, coast, and waterways by leading cleanups, raising awareness, and empowering community action.
Our first goal of $1,500 aims to raise enough money to buy buckets, litter grabbers, t-shirts, and waters for our volunteers. Any leftover funds will be used to aid in the restoration of Tampa Bay’s waterways.
Cost breakdown:
$229 - IRS EIN Tax ID Application
$279 - 501(c)(3) to file for nonprofit status
$250 - Miscellaneous administrative expenses (i.e. website and domain purchase, and other set-up expenses)
$325 - equipment: grabbers, buckets, trash bags, gloves, water
$275 - t-shirts for volunteers: approx. $16 per shirt. Anticipating at least 15 volunteers plus shipping and tax.
