Let’s turn challenges into something positive!

2025 was a challenge… and 2026 isn’t slowing down. But instead of letting it defeat us, we’re choosing to turn it into something full of hope ✨

This January, our brave little Tommy will face 3 hospital admissions at Great Ormond Street, 2 general anaesthetics, an MRI, ultrasounds, blood tests, a Synacthen test, a continuous glucose monitor (48 hours of fasting ), a colonoscopy with the dreaded prep, and an endoscopy.
All at just 7 years old!

Last summer, thanks to you all, we raised £560 for GOSH — and we were so humbled by your kindness.

This time, we’re aiming even higher…
Can we turn £560 into £1,000 by the end of our final hospital stay in January?

Every share, every donation, every message of support means more than words can say ✨

Let’s turn this tough month into something positive, full of love — and make a real difference for Tommy and other children at GOSH

Thank you for being part of our journey

Our original story.....

Sea Glass for GOSH | Kids Helping Kids

Over the summer, the kids have been on a mission — scouring the beaches for sea glass and turning their seaside treasures into beautiful, handmade necklaces. Every piece they’ve made has been sold to raise money for a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts: Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity (GOSH).

So far, they’ve raised an amazing £121 through their creativity, hard work, and big hearts — and we’re so proud of every single piece they’ve made! With just a few days left before school starts back, we’d absolutely love to help them hit their next goal of £200. ✨

As many of you know, our Tommy has spent a large part of his life in and out of hospital. The team at GOSH — from the doctors and nurses to the play staff and volunteers — have provided not just exceptional care, but comfort, kindness, and hope during some of our toughest times.

GOSH has become a huge part of all our lives, and we’re truly blessed that our friends and family have embraced it as our chosen charity — for Tommy, and for so many other children who rely on their care every day.

We’ve been lucky enough to spend a wonderful week in Frinton with our amazing beach family, who’ve supported, encouraged, and bought from the kids — helping turn their beach finds into meaningful masterpieces. It’s taken weeks of sea glass hunting, hours of necklace making, and so much love — and the results speak for themselves.

In just a few weeks, we’ll be heading back to the hospital — and Tommy is so excited to hand-deliver a cheque from all the kids' fundraising. Every little donation will help bring us closer to that special moment.

If you’d like to support their efforts, please consider donating or sharing this page. Your support means the world to the kids — and to all of us.

Thank you for being part of something so special.

With love,
Mummy of a real life superhero, Frinton Family & Tommy himself!
