Hi my names Tim Smith im a traditionl boat builder, I have moved out of professional side of boatbuilding last year, im now hoping to pass on my skills to the next genaration whilst restoring a 1960 chinese junk so im trying to raise funds to transport the Chinese junk "Sea Dragon" to Scotland so I can restore her, she was sitting in the boat yard i used to work at when i saw her and was struck by the strange window in the transom, i got her for paying off her outstanding yard fees which wasnt much, and i mainly just sucured her in a better storage setup so she wouldn't deteriorate any more, she has been waiting a good few year like this for me to properly get started with her restoration, well now I have the time but I lack the funds to move her here, if you would like to help with this it would be very much appreciated, and I will document all aspects of her restoration as I go on my boatbuilding Facebook page "thedinghyproject" there is also lots of past projects on there to look through if you like.
