Mission: Saving pets, strengthening community, and providing second chances — one animal at a time.
Over the past year, Sea Dog Animal Training (SDAT) made the incredibly difficult decision to voluntarily close to protect the pets entrusted to us.
Faced with an unknown respiratory illness impacting animals across the country, we put safety first — even though it meant a near total loss of revenue and mounting financial strain.
We didn’t sit still.
• We pivoted. We proudly brought on Dr. Grace Brannon to provide on-site veterinary care, expanding services and safeguarding pet health.
• We restructured. We reorganized our operations, improved protocols, and gave our exhausted staff time to heal after an overwhelming year.
• We stayed committed. We continued caring for pets abandoned or unable to be supported by their rescues or owners, even when it stretched our resources thin.
• We expanded partnerships. We moved long-term boarding pets into loving homes through out-of-state rescue collaborations.

Why We Need Your Help
Despite hard work and sacrifice, we are still recovering from:
• Quadrupled overhead during quarantine (medical supplies, sanitation, utilities)
• Minimal revenue during extended closure
• Excessive outstanding accounts receivables from before and during quarantine
• High daily care costs for SDAT’s resident pets, many with behavior or medical challenges
Your support will help us:
• Improve facilities for pet comfort and enrichment
• Support experienced staff in providing specialized behavior care
• Fund veterinary treatment and supplies for SDAT’s resident pets
⸻
Ways You Can Help
Even if you can’t give financially, you can support SDAT by:
• Volunteering to help at the facility
• Referring new clients to our training and boarding services
• Donating needed supplies (bedding, toys, enrichment materials)
• Sharing this campaign and our mission
• Helping us distribute flyers and promotional materials in the community
