¡Hola! Mi nombre es Aldonza Victoria Castro Flores, soy originaria del Puerto de Veracruz y hoy, a mis 24 años, tengo una oportunidad que marca un antes y un después en mi carrera: me ha sido otorgada una beca del 100% para integrarme al Coastal City Ballet en Vancouver, Canadá.

Pero esta historia no inició aquí:

Pero esta historia no comenzó en el escenario donde gane esta oportunidad, sino mucho antes en un anhelo que nació cuando tenía 4 años, conocí y me enamore del ballet. Estudié con la maestra Leslie Pinort en Escuela de Ballet: PetitPas los 15 años tomé una de las decisiones más difíciles: dejar mi hogar y a mi familia para buscar una formación profesional en el CAADI, bajo la guía de la maestra Deniza Kuznechonkova.

Continué mi camino como Trainee en el Russian Ballet Orlando, donde obtuve becas para seguir mi preparación en instituciones como Joffrey Ballet School, New York Dance Project y la Escuela de África Guzmán, entre otras. Posteriormente, me gradué del programa IDAC Incubator en Guadalajara y viajé a Minnesota para continuar mi entrenamiento.

Llegar hasta aquí ha sido un camino de resistencia y entrega. No ha sido fácil; he tenido que enfrentar las barreras del idioma y aprender a vivir sola en países diferentes, lejos de mi red de apoyo. Sin embargo, estas experiencias me han fortalecido para lo que viene. Después de entrenar bajo la dirección de la Maestra Doris Topete en Guadalajara, todos estos años de esfuerzo rindieron sus frutos con esta invitación a Canadá.

Ahora me enfrento a un nuevo reto: Vancouver es una de las ciudades más costosas del mundo. Aunque mi talento y esfuerzo cubrieron el costo de mis estudios, necesito de su apoyo para cubrir los gastos de traslado, trámites de visa, seguro médico y vivienda.

Mi meta es recaudar $10,000 USD para poder iniciar este sueño en febrero de 2026.

Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que parezca, es un impulso directo para que una bailarina mexicana llegue a los escenarios internacionales. ¡Gracias por creer en mí y por ser parte de mi historia!

Hello! My name is Aldonza Victoria Castro Flores, I'm originally from Veracruz, Veracruz, and today, at 24 years old, I have an opportunity that marks a turning point in my career: I've been awarded a 100% scholarship to join the Coastal City Ballet in Vancouver, Canada.

But this story didn't begin here:

This story didn't begin on the stage where I won this opportunity, but much earlier, with a dream that was born when I was 4 years old, when I discovered and fell in love with ballet. I studied with teacher Leslie Pinort at the PetitPas Ballet School. At 15, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life: to leave my home and family to pursue professional training at CAADI, under the guidance of teacher Deniza Kuznechonkova.

I continued my journey as a trainee at the Russian Ballet Orlando, where I received scholarships to further my training at institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet School, the New York Dance Project, and the África Guzmán School, among others. Later, I graduated from the IDAC Incubator program in Guadalajara and traveled to Minnesota to continue my training.

Getting here has been a journey of resilience and dedication. It hasn't been easy; I've had to overcome language barriers and learn to live alone in different countries, far from my support network. However, these experiences have strengthened me for what lies ahead. After training under the direction of Maestro Doris Topete in Guadalajara, all these years of effort have paid off with this invitation to Canada.

Now I face a new challenge: Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Although my talent and hard work covered the cost of my studies, I need your support to cover travel expenses, visa processing, health insurance, and housing.

My goal is to raise $10,000 USD to begin this dream in February 2026.
