As most of you know, Jake was found a week ago unconscious outside. He has been on life support for the last week. The doctors are now saying that it is time to start making final preparations.

This was all very unexpected and, unfortunately, the family was not prepared for. Anyone who knows Jake knows that he would give his shirt off his back for anyone, whether he knew them or not. Jake was often seen around the neighborhood taking Thanksgiving dinner to people who didn’t have a dinner, buying soda for the home bound woman down the street or even just handing money to a stranger on the side of the road. There is nothing that he wouldn’t do for anyone.

I am now asking everyone to please do the same for him and his family. Everyone knows how much Jake’s kids and grandkids mean to him. Skylaa, Heaven and Jakob were his Daddy and he did the best he could to fulfill that role for them. His beautiful grandkids and non-biological kids that he loved as his own know him as “Padre.” Let’s help his family have the ability to care for Jake just as he would have done for everyone he knew.
