SDT Wendy Walk Relays 2018

This November 11th, 2018, the sisters of Sigma Delta Tau at the Alpha Mu Chapter at the University of Miami will be hosting our 5th annual fall philanthropy, the Wendy Walk Relays. The Wendy Walk is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness for liposarcoma, a rare form of soft tissue cancer that is currently untreatable.

This foundation is near and dear to our hearts, as we started the event to honor the mother of one our own sisters, Jackie Landes (Class of 2013). In continuing support of our sister and to find a cure for this form of cancer, we as a chapter also continue to raise awareness and funds through our fall philanthropy event.

This November, we will be participating in relay events with the University of Miami community. They Wendy Walk works to provide hope, strength and courage to those fighting a rare cancer - we hope to pass these efforts on in our community.

Last year, we raised $17,000.00 for the Wendy Walk, and we aspire to surpass this goal. Please consider supporting this amazing cause. Any contribution will help!
