I made this GoFundMe to help support the costs for my dad's medical treatment and funeral costs.

Last week, my sister, Monica, and I received a call letting us know that my dad was in bad condition and needed emergency medical attention to continue living. Although we looked for 7+ public hospitals to attend him, he was turned away. Since his condition was worsening, we called an ambulance to take him to a private hospital as a last resource.

The hospital was able to get him to a stable condition and diagnose him with kidney failure due to diabetes. After a few days, we took my dad home since his condition improved. We bought all 10 medicines and made sure his vital signs were stable.

Shortly after we returned home, he stopped being able to talk, eat, drink or take his medications. We called the ambulance again to go to the same hospital. They diagnosed him with sepsis (severe urinary infection) that caused a bad fever. At this point, my dad was only responsive with his eyes. He was stable for a day.

My dad passed away this morning.

He did not want to go, but his body was tired. He fought his hardest to work through the sickness, but he is ultimately at peace now.
