Class of 2004 Charles Hammond Scholarship
Donation protected
This scholarship has been established in remembrance of Charles Hammond, a student that would have graduated with the Palmyra High School Class of 2004, but was lost far too early due to a battle with cancer.
The class of 2004 and Charles’s family would like to keep his spirit alive through this scholarship and its recipient.
The Charles Hammond Scholarship is for a student that is full of ambition and exudes a sense of optimism towards everyone on a consistent basis whether it is a peer, teacher or family member. As Mrs. Hammond has stated in describing Charles, “he was very upbeat, positive and saw everything through rose-colored glasses.” The recipient of this award should have a positive attitude that is contagious and the intention of making the most of life with the underlying attitude to not take anything in life for granted. Campaign ends Friday, June 6th.
Any funds that surpass our goal will be saved and go towards next year's scholarship.
