My Multiple sclerosis has progressed. I am forty years old with two children and a wonderful grandson. I have tried every medication they have for me with no Success. Unfortunately I am progressing at a fast pace. At this rate I will be in a wheelchair in 5-7 years. For those who know me I put everyone else first. Because of this I am reaching out for help. I have the opportunity to work with a great research doctor in NY. He is willing to include me on a patient funded stem cell research. This will get my disease to halt and hopefully can finish raising my children and continue coaching young girls volleyball.I have accepted this disability with all my heart and am grateful to god that is me and not someone who doesn't know the disease. I am not ready to give up! If I can participate in this research it will not only help me, but will help others with MS get this FDA Approved... Any little bit helps!.
The last attack was a month ago. That left me with excruciating Pain radiating down my arm and trigenminal neuralgia. This is pain I can describe like needing a root canal in every tooth in my bottom jaw. I was released from the hospital with over twelve meds and they want to continue the therapy that is like chemo. So I will be drugged to the point I won't see my children grow up. I did NOT fill these meds because I would rather be in pain and know my friends and family. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I will not give up.
MY DEADLINE FOR THE STUDY IS IN THE NEXT MONTH TO PARTICIPATE. In Europe people have been symptom free for 10-20years after stem cell therapy.
