Carols Journey

Hi Everyone! Last November my mom (carol) was diagnosed with stage 3b Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. We had a 50/50 chance at saving her life so we fought hard and moved quickly as her cancer grew fast, aggressive and was triple negative (doesn’t respond well to most treatment options). She did about 6 months of chemotherapy, then had a double mastectomy and radiation. We thought we were in the clear until she had a seizure that led us to find out it spread to her brain.
We are in complete shock right now. I won’t be working much so I can care for her the rest of the way. We don’t know how long we have left with her and her biggest request right now is to make it to the ocean one last time. So if u know me you know I’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen!
I normally wouldn’t ask for financial help but I have to at this point in order to make this happen in a timely manner.
Every dime of donations will go to getting her to the ocean and anything left will go to her directly for whatever makes her happy as long as she’s still here.

I’m setting the goal at 2,000 but I don’t expect it to be reached. If we could do it though, I would cry I’d be so blessed.
