Surgery for Charlie

Yesterday, an unknown driver struck my daughter's basset hound Charlie. They did not stop.. Charlie is 7 months old and was Addisons 10th birthday present. Charlie needs surgery to repair his broken left femur. The surgery will require a cross pinning of the left femur. Normally a plate would be inserted, but due to the location of the growth plate by the break, and the spacing to the head of the bone the plating cannot be utilized. Charlie is currently at the Taylor Veterinarian Hospital in Turlock, California. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. If for some reason the amount needed is exceeded, I will set up a further dispersion of funds to be allocated to the Taylor Veterinarian Clinic for other animals involved in hit and runs. ❤
