Scout and Gary Philpot with moving forward
Donation protected
So, I didn’t know my Daddy could fly….
We were riding home on a quiet Wednesday afternoon when out of nowhere, bam! A nice man visiting our town turned his eyes toward the setting sun to turn left, never seeing our motorcycle, unltimately sending us both airborne; over sixty five feet they tell me.
My daddy wrapped me tight and kept me close as we soared over picnic umbrellas and the like. A sweet man named Wayne saw everything and tied a belt around my daddy’s leg which probably saved him. And just like that first responders and caring bistanders were helping to care of us both.
I had been adopted a few month earlier through the Florida Keys SPCA and when they heard about the incident took me in to care for me while my daddy gets better. They paid for me to have surgery on my broken femur and guess what family opened their home to foster me, Wayne’s!
When they flew my daddy to Miami, they tried really hard to save his leg, but they just couldn’t. But he isn’t sad about it ‘cause he’s alive and I’m alive and we get to be together again real soon. There are some amazing people helping us to figure out what we need to adjust to our new life, and if you can help out in anyway that would be amazing. Below is a list of where donated funds would be going to help us. Thank you in advance for any consideration and support.
Sincerely,
Scout, Gary, and all that love them both
