Medical Expenses for Albert Ahern ❤️

May 19th we received devastating news about Uncle Albert. He was quickly transferred from OS Hospital to Oschners due to a mass located on his spine, and spots on his lungs and liver. Once at Oschners, the doctors primary concern was the tumor located on his upper spine. On the night of May 23rd, he was rushed into emergency surgery to remove the tumor in order to prevent further damage. Uncle Albert told the family right before surgery, “I’m going to walk out of here after all of this is said and done.” He kept his word to us, and with assistance, he walked out of the hospital on June 2nd. As we wait for biopsy results and his treatment plan, we know this is just the beginning of his fight. He is ready to battle whatever news we receive regarding his health. In an effort to alleviate the financial stress on him, we are creating this account so that he can focus on his health rather than his finances. All money collected will be used for his expenses, travel, and medical bills/needs. As always, our family appreciates the outpouring of love and support from all of you.
