Hi, My name is Bri and I am the School Education Manager at ChildTime Brea. I am putting together this fundraiser on behalf of our Director Ms. Becky and her family during this difficult time regarding her husband Robert Vasquez. On Friday June 2, a 911 call was made for Robert. He went numb down his entire left side and fell. Upon arriving to hospital he had a seizure and stoped breathing. They found a mass on his brain and nodules on the lungs, stomach, abdomen and Colon. As of today we have an update on the severity of Robert’s condition from Ms. Becky: Robert will have brain surgery (most likely on Wednesday) to remove mass on brain (confirmed cancer) prior to that he will have a colonoscopy. They are thinking that it is colon or stomach cancer as a majority of the nodules are sitting in colon, abdomen and large intestines, As well as the lungs. After surgery we will meet with oncologist to determine next steps to tackle the other areas. For those that are prayer warriors Wednesday I would love the support of a prayer as he goes in for surgery. Thank you for the support! ❤️ My kids and I are scared, overwelmed and still in shock. I would love to offer as much support and prayer as we all possibly can. Any little bit will help towards medical expenses, groceries and meals to help the Vasquez family. They will have enough on their minds and this will be a long emotional road ahead. Ms. Becky was there for me when I went through my cancer diagnosis and she has been there for so many families. She has been the director at Childtime Brea for so many years caring for so many children and families. I would love to gather as many people as I can who know and love Becky & her family to give back for all she does. our prayers go out to Robert in hopes for a healing miracle & to her family for strength during this time.
