Support Amber and Her Family Through Her Breast Cancer Journey
Amber, a dedicated San Diego City Firefighter, loving mother, wife, sister, and friend, has spent her life in service to others. In April, during a routine mammogram, Amber received the life-altering diagnosis of Invasive Lobular Carcinoma, a form of breast cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early—and it is treatable and curable.
However, the path forward hasn’t been easy. Amber recently underwent a double mastectomy, a procedure that came as an unexpected but necessary step in her fight against cancer. She is now recovering at home and faces at least one, possibly two more surgeries before her journey toward healing is complete.
Recovery has been challenging—Amber needs help just to sit up on her own and requires assistance around the clock, including bandage changes every four hours. Her husband, Tony, also a fellow San Diego City Firefighter, has taken time off work to be by her side as full-time caregiver. This selfless choice, while critical to Amber’s recovery, has placed an enormous financial burden on their family, as both are currently unable to work.
We’re reaching out to our community to help support this incredible family who have given so much of themselves to protect and care for others. Your donation will help cover:
Unforeseen expenses
Daily living costs while both are unable to work
Transportation and additional care needs during recovery
Support for their daughter during this uncertain time
Amber’s battle is far from over—but with your help, she won’t have to face it alone.
Tony and Amber are not the kind of people to ask for assistance. They are the ones who want to do for others. This is why Im reaching out. Please consider donating, sharing, and helping us lift up a family who has always lifted others.
Donate today to support Amber and her family.
❤️ Every contribution makes a difference.
